Hey there, I’m Roger. When I joined the Players in 2011, one of the first things I did was to create a site. It served its purpose, but was cumbersome and time-consuming to work with. As a result, updates weren’t posted in time to do site visitors much good.
I’ve been experimenting with blogging and WordPress themes, so I figured I’d take this one for a spin and add some touches that were long overdue. This one was created offline using WP with WebMatrix. It’s mobile-ready, responsive and optimized for iDevices, Android, and Blackberry and features drag & drop blog galleries, blog box callouts and sliders, and other things that sound techie. In other words, important posts regarding events and dates are easy to add, and won’t look like the inside of a Gothic wine cellar either like the old one did. On the other hand, now you may be reminded of a ’50s diner. Ah well, it’s gotta look like something.
If you find any broken links, pages that need updating, pages or images that don’t load correctly or other such nonsense, please send a message by clicking the email icon at the top right and I’ll try and get it fixed soon, as far as volunteer schedules go!
Newer posts will appear here, and this one will get bumped down the page and eventually archived as others take its place.
